4 Effortless Ways to Turn Your Clean Home into a Happy One

Updated: May 2, 2023

Each member of the household benefits from a clean environment, which also keeps you healthier than it would be otherwise. Now, keeping your home clean encourages better habits for everyone who lives there. You don't want to spend all day cleaning up after other people, nor do you want your cleaning duties to take up your entire day. This brings about happiness.

1. Planning

Cleaning will go more smoothly if you have a plan in place for each room, detailing how long it will take and how much labor is required. Another excellent suggestion is to give each room in the plan a specific amount of time. Start the longest tasks first if your kitchen will take 20 minutes and each bedroom will take about ten. In this manner, you won't be exhausted before the crucial events.

2. Cleaning the kitchen.

One of the most challenging aspects of maintaining a clean kitchen is keeping your dishes cleansed and out of the way. Sometimes, after spending hours cooking a meal, you don't feel like cleaning the dishes or putting them away, but if you end the night with everything put away, you'll feel much better the following morning when you wake up and enter a clean kitchen to make your first cup of coffee.

3. Cleaning the Bathrooms

The best thing to keep in mind when cleaning a bathroom is that most cleaning products can be sprayed and left in place for a predetermined period of time before they start to work their magic. Then, when you go to the bathroom at the end, all that is left to do is wipe everything down once the products have finished their work. To avoid wasting time or working too hard, start at the top and work your way down.

4. Cleaning the Bedrooms

Your vacuum cleaner is your best friend in the bedroom. Vacuum your mattresses before your carpets and your drapes and blinds at least once a month to keep your bedrooms as clean and dust-free as possible. Always wash your bed linens on the hottest setting on your washing machine, and change them at least once each week. Add 4-6 drops of your preferred essential oil to the wash cycle to give your laundry an extra boost of freshness.
